The sites overlook the beautiful Canadian River breaks to the north with wide open skies to the west and east to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. These are rustic sites with no improvements. We are just getting started with this so you’ll be able to help us from the ground up. If we are not in a burn ban you’re welcome to have a campfire. There will be opportunities to call up a wild coyote or watch some mule deer or an occasional antelope stroll by. You could even be awakened by the horses on their way to water in the morning and we can set up some horse riding if we have enough notice to schedule time off from the 9-5 haha. We weren’t here for long but it was easy to find per Tyler’s instructions and it was beautiful to wake up among the windmills and the cows grazing!!

I loved how open the land was. it was flat and easy to find a tent site. super private during my stay, there was no one else there. the horses in the field are so friendly and nice to be around. I did not try the horseback ride but loved getting to pet the horses. Tyler was responsive and friendly, easy to communicate with, provided concise and helpful directions. the land is easy to navigate with my two wheel drive truck and there was a wonderful breeze blowing across the plain at all times. while it's primitive, I would gladly come back again.

We enjoyed our time with the horses! One was especially friendly, which delighted my daughter. It was very windy, to be expected on a wind farm! We angled our camper van so as to make the wind less of an issue. Occasionally the wind blows from what looked like an intensive cattle farm some distance away in town. We appreciated the seclusion and privacy here :)

Good distance from highway as to not hear it, nice view, friendly host. It is in a wind farm area so very windy and chilly for April but still nice

Great spot to camp
We loved camping out here on a very windy night! The views of the wind turbines are impressive! The site was easy to access and level and clean!
